The Golden Compass

This film is really amazing!

I saw this film two times and I was very exciting both times.

The Golden Compass is a fantasy film based on Northern Lights (published as The Golden Compass in the U.S.), and there is an interesting fact; it was one of New Line's most expensive projects ever, at US$180 million!.

This picture has its place in the antique Europe which is controlled by an authoritarian organization called "The Magisterium", which threatens to dominate the world.

I think that the first thing that causes that we are involved in it from the beginning, it is, that the picture happens in a parallel universe, where people´s souls are animals!. Personally I was happy if my soul would be an animal, because I think that they (animals) are really honest and genuine . In this film, people´s souls are something like "Pepe Grillo", that is so funny.

On the other hand, there are a lot of interesting characters. We can see once more an amazing acting by Nicole Kidman (Mrs. Coultier), starring the evil, and, of course, must be a good character, who is interpreting by Daniel Craig (Lord Asriel), and a smart girl, Dakota Blue Richards as Lyra, who is Lord Asriel´s Niece.

In an inevitable intent to liberate her land to the evil and its suffering, Lyra begins an interesting and amazing fight with aid from incredible characters like a huge polar bear, who, furthermore speaks!

I really advice you view this amazing picture which will involve you in a wonderful world, with an unforgettable production which includes surprising special effects and very good acting.
